HR Specialist (82136)

Under direct supervision, implements Human Resources policies as a specialist, partnering with business leaders to ensure a complete understanding of business needs and objectives. Performs a variety of general personnel/clerical tasks within the Human Resources department.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains both manual and automated personnel records, collects and compiles sensitive and confidential personnel statistics and prepares reports.
  • Preparing or updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating.
  • Responsible for researching and responding to employee questions, concerns, and inquiries about human resources policies.
  • Assists with conducting new hire orientation and ensuring accurate completion of all new hire paperwork, to include but not limited to, applicable identification verifications, background checks and substantiating documentation/reporting
  • Assists with administration of employee health, welfare and retirement plans company-wide in accordance to federal and state regulations, contract requirements and plan provisions
  • Maintains legally required HR postings, and is point person for all HR audit inquiries
  • In accordance with procedures, furnishes information to authorized persons and/or agencies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Required Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or Related field of study
  • 2-4 year's of related work experience
  • Maintaining of accurate and complete records
  • Timely responsiveness to requests and internal deadlines
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and requests in quick paced environment
  • Ensuring compliance of policies and procedures
  • Intermediate MS Office skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or Related field of study
  • 4-6 year's of related work experience
  • Experience in Global, public company
  • Supporting employees in multiple countries

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
